The III International Prize Foundation IVI was granted to the professor Sudhansu K. Dey, professor of pediatric oncology and cell biology and director of the division of Reproductive Sciences of the Foundation of Children Research of Cincinnati in the United States.

During more than thirty years the investigation work of professor Dey has been oriented Howard determining the genetic and molecular basis of preimplantation embryo and the interactions that occur between the embryo and uterus during blastocyst implantation. He is also a leading researcher in the role of oncogenes in the initiation and development of uterine cancer and ovarian cancer.
Professor Dey is the author of 250 scientific articles, more than a hundred presentations in scientific symposiums and member of seven international scientific associations in the field of reproductive medicine and fertility.
The reward that the Foundation FIVI and Schering-Plough have offered this year to this born in India investigator is endowed with 24,000 euros and it seeks to acknowledge the work excellence groups of research in reproductive medicine who have presented papers of clinical interest in the last five years.
